School Starts back August 14th for 9th grade and August 17th for upperclassmen.
Advanced Placement (A) Exams are scheduled for May 4-8 and 11-15, 2009. As a service to South Carolina students who will be taking these exams, the South Carolina Virtual School Program (SCVSP) offers free AP Exam Reviews online for the following AP courses:
S Art History
S Biology
S Calculus AB
S European History
S Literature and Composition
S Language and Composition
S Macroeconomics
S Spanish Language
S U.S. History
S U.S. Government and Politics
These reviews provide the following:
S A review of actual student essays taken from past AP exams accompanied by detailed advice and instruction to facilitate student comprehension of the material. The AP Exam Reviews break these essays down step-by-step to demonstrate and distinguish the differences between essays that satisfy the prompt and essays that do not.
S Analyses of multiple choice questions from past AP exams with specific guidance to help students better understand why an answer is correct and why the other answers are incorrect.
S Practice multiple choice exams in a simulated, test environment.
S Access to support materials from the College Board and from online instructors to prepare students for the testing environment, including testing tips, review of testing terminology and web site references.

The University of South Carolina has Pre-University Programs available in the summer. The programs include: Art, Music, Dance, Business, Culinary Arts, Sports, Pre-Med, Engineering, etc.
